With its big upright ears, warm tan-and-white markings, glossy eyes, tiny paws, soft muzzle, and unmistakable Corgi expression, this little pup is hard not to love.

As each piece comes together, you’ll practice color changes, shaping, symmetry, stuffing, assembly, and precise facial placement while creating a recognizable little dog with plenty of personality.

Follow our step-by-step video tutorials and printable PDF pattern at your own pace.

Make one for yourself, recreate a little reminder of a favorite pet, or give it to someone who never stops talking about dogs.

A handmade little pup can carry a lot more meaning than something picked from a shelf.

Is this actually ok for a total beginner? I have never finished a crochet project.

Yes — it is marked Beginner+ and the kit video walks through every round. Most first-timers finish in a few short sessions. If you can hold a hook and do a basic stitch, you can do this.

Mark the first stitch of each round with a scrap of yarn if you lose count easily.

Does the Material Kit include stuffing or do I need to buy polyfill separately?

The Material Kit includes enough polyester stuffing for this Corgi. You should not need extra unless you prefer very firm packing.

    Took longer than expected

About 10 evenings. Not hard, just slow. Collar fluff ate a whole night.

Thank you for sharing your experience with us. Ten evenings is definitely a commitment, and we really appreciate the patience you put into the project. The fluffy collar can be one of those details that takes more time than expected, but it also adds so much character to the finished piece. We’re glad to hear the process felt manageable, even if it moved a little slower than planned. We hope the final result made all that time feel worthwhile. 💛

    Head before the eyes

Progress shot. Waiting on the safety eyes felt weird — blank face staring at me. Attaching them made him suddenly real.

Thank you for sharing this little moment from the process. That “blank face” stage can definitely feel a bit funny, and then the safety eyes suddenly bring the whole character to life. It’s one of our favorite parts of making amigurumi too. We hope the rest of the project was just as satisfying to watch come together. 💛
